A leading aerospace company in Filton, UK, is seeking a qualified Accountant to support financial processes and reporting. The successful candidate will lead project work, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards like IFRS and UK GAAP. SECURITY CLEARANCE: You will be subject to BPSS and Export Control checks (including a criminal record check), Airbus is establishing a new company, called Airbus Belfast Limited, following a trade and assets acquisition of a key supplier. This entity is projected to have a turnover of approximately £400m. The newly created Airbus Belfast Accounting team requires an Accountant to join its ranks, supporting numerous stakeholders who rely on timely and accurate financial information. Airbus Belfast Limited is entering a period of dynamic change, offering a varied and challenging work environment. The successful candidate will lead project work to establish new processes and drive a leaner, more efficient way of working to meet the company’s financial requirements. A deep understanding of the business’s activities is essential for the Accounting team.
