Job summary

Sumer, part of the UK’s fast-growing accountancy group, invites applications for its Early Careers Trainee Programme in Leeds. You’ll train in Audit, Accounts or Tax, gaining hands-on client exposure from day one and studying towards ACA, ATT or AAT.

The programme offers paid study leave, buddy and mentoring, and group-wide cohort training through the Sumer Academy, with a 37.5 hour week and Sept 2027 start.

Qualifications

• Minimum of A-Level or equivalent.
• English and Maths GCSE results: C/5 and B/6 (or equivalent).
• Strong communication and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience within Audit, Accounts or Tax.
• Prepare accounts, support audits, or provide insightful tax and business advice.
• Work directly with clients and participate in group-wide cohort training through the Sumer Academy.
