Job summary

Streamline Search Ltd. in Totnes is seeking a Junior Manager in Accountancy to oversee a portfolio of clients, preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, management accounts and tax returns.

The role requires ACA/ACCA qualification with at least one year post-qualification and managerial experience, plus strong leadership skills. The position offers hybrid working, with hours 8.30am-5pm, and a salary up to £42,000.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified with relevant post-qualification experience
• Minimum of one year post-qualification experience in an accountancy practice
• At least one year of managerial or supervisory experience overseeing workloads and junior staff
• Strong technical knowledge of statutory accounts, tax returns and accounting standards
• Experience with UK tax legislation and filing deadlines

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts and act as main point of contact
• Review and prepare statutory accounts for various entities
• Oversee management accounts, year-end close and financial reporting
• Prepare and review corporation tax, personal tax and partnership tax returns
• Supervise and develop junior team members and review their work
• Ensure compliance and accuracy of VAT returns and reconciliations
• Support client meetings and business reviews with financial insights
• Assist with workload planning and quality control across the practice
