Job summary

Brewers Chartered Accountants in the United Kingdom is seeking an apprentice Accounts/Finance Assistant (Level 2) to join our small, friendly team. The role covers office administration, greeting clients, and handling calls, with in-office guidance on accounts preparation.

You will work with senior staff to gather data at client premises for accounts and independent audits, and spend time learning audit, management accounting, payroll and taxation services from department heads.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above.
• Interest in accounting and finance through an apprenticeship.
• Progression to Level 3 AAT.

Responsibilities

• Office administration: post opening, welcoming clients, telephone answering.
• Support with accounts preparation basics under guidance.
• Prepare spreadsheets to support client record review.
• Assist senior staff at client premises to gather data for accounts and audits.
