Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Pharmacist Manager to lead the Clinical Trials Aseptic Services (CTAS) and related radiopharmacy units. You will oversee aseptic preparation for an ambitious portfolio of trials and ATMPs, ensuring GCP and GMP compliance across the service and guiding a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

UK registered pharmacist with experience of aseptics or manufacturing.
Aseptic preparation of doses for clinical trials/ATMPs is required.
Experience leading a multi-disciplinary pharmacy team within a research or manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

Act as Accountable Pharmacist for CTAS and manage the unlicensed unit delivering injectable IMPs, ATMPs and high-risk medicines.
Line manage the Production Manager(s) for MHRA Radiopharmacy & Hyperpolarising Gas Units and ensure GMP compliance.
Ensure GMP/QA compliance and alignment with sponsor requirements and UK trust pharmacy practices.
Provide expert advice on aseptic preparation, GMP, and ATMPs to clinical staff and pharmacy colleagues.
Support the building and commissioning of a new CTAS facility to enable extensive research portfolio.
