Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Lead Pharmacist for Manufacturing and Accountable Pharmacist. The role focuses on aseptic dispensing, management of CTAS, and support for radiopharmacy and ATMPs, leading a team of pharmacists, technicians and scientists.

You will ensure GMP compliance, contribute to QA systems, and drive a new CTAS facility build. UK registered pharmacist with aseptic/manufacturing experience required; band 8b with competitive salary.

Qualifications

• UK registered pharmacist with aseptics or manufacturing experience.
• Experience leading a multidisciplinary team within a pharmaceutical setting.
• Strong knowledge of GMP/QA principles and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the CTAS unit and manage aseptic, investigational medicines for trials.
• Line manage Pharmacy Production Manager(s) and ensure GMP-compliant operations.
• Develop and maintain QA systems, worksheets and labelling aligned with MHRA/UK guidance.
• Support the building and commissioning of a new CTAS facility to enable research portfolio.
