Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking an On-Site Operations Guru in Desford to act as the primary face of the service for workers and clients. You will manage daily engagement, host client meetings, and run worker surgeries to resolve day-to-day issues.

You will also onboard new starters, maintain live data across systems, and handle lifecycle events including employee relations and leaver processes, reporting back to the Account Manager to drive growth.

You will be the backbone of our presence at one of our most prestigious client sites in Desford, ensuring every worker’s journey from day one to their last is seamless, organized, and positive.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You will split your time between face‑to‑face stakeholder engagement and keeping our back office systems running like clockwork. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Worker & Client Engagement: Act as the primary face of the service. You will manage daily worker engagement for temporary staff, host face‑to‑face client service meetings, and run "worker surgeries" to solve day‑to‑day workplace hurdles.
• The Onboarding Architect: You'll ensure that all new starters have the best start in their new role by meeting with them regularly throughout their first few weeks.
• System & Data Specialist: Maintain 100% accurate live data within our systems and databases.
• Lifecycle & ER Management: Conduct regular formal check‑ins with staff, proactively handle assignment extensions, manage Employee Relations (ER) cases, and oversee the end‑to‑end leaver process.
• Account Knowledge Specialist: You'll use your position on site to gain knowledge and report back to the Account Manager to support our growth and relationship objectives.
