Job Description:

API is seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as an Account Manager. This role is based remotely in London, UK. The Account Manager will serve as the primary contact for clients, managing existing relationships and ensuring client satisfaction while aligning with API’s interests.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sourcing: Oversee existing API accounts to maximize relationships and expand market share, working closely with the Research & Sourcing team to ensure seamless destination sourcing and accurate RFP documentation.
  2. Strategic Planning: Develop plans to maximize revenue and client savings, including sourcing timelines for contracts and renewals.
  3. Site Inspections: Conduct hotel inspections domestically and internationally to ensure properties meet client criteria.
  4. Contracting: Negotiate hotel contracts, renewals, and addendums, maintaining favorable terms and monitoring market conditions.
  5. Day-to-Day Account Management: Collaborate with sales team to meet client needs, manage crew feedback, and maintain hotel relationships.
  6. System Management: Add and update hotel information in systems like Hotel Express and ACES, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  7. CRM and Client Relations: Ensure all revenue opportunities and contracts are accurately recorded, understand client needs, and provide strategic recommendations.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This role operates remotely, requiring regular communication and use of standard office equipment. Physical demands include talking, hearing, standing, walking, and using hands and arms.

Position Details:

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with occasional evening or weekend work. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Compensation:

The salary range is GBP 40,000 to 45,000 annually.

Requirements:
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in the travel industry, especially working with hotels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or related fields.
