Job summary

GENEWIZ UK Ltd, part of Azenta Life Sciences, is seeking an Account Manager for Synthesis & Overnight Sequencing Solutions in the Cambridge & Norwich region. The role focuses on introducing Molecular Biology services, including Gene Synthesis and Sanger sequencing, to a portfolio of designated accounts and building strong client relationships.

You will develop account strategies, collaborate across teams, and drive revenue through renewals and expansion.

Qualifications

• University Degree required (Biology or Life Sciences essential).
• Relevant account management experience in a designated region/territory.
• Strong knowledge of Molecular Biology including Gene Synthesis and Sequencing.
• Proven track record in meeting/exceeding sales goals.
• Confident communication and ability to work with internal/external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales goals within defined accounts through development and maintenance of customer relationships.
• Drive growth by developing and executing account management strategies.
• Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns and event participation.
• Work cross-functionally with Inside Sales, Technical Support and Corporate Accounts to meet client needs.
