Job summary

C&M Travel Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Account Manager for a global river cruise representation client. The role is hybrid, based in London, with three days in the office and two days working remotely, involving client visits and on-line meetings.

You will grow existing business and develop new opportunities across the UK travel leisure market, leveraging a strong network in the cruise/leisure sector to win new business and build enduring partnerships.

Qualifications

• Account management experience in travel is a must, ideally in Cruise.
• Experience in river cruising is highly desirable.
• Strong network within the leisure travel industry is required.

Responsibilities

• Represent a river cruise company and grow existing business across the UK leisure market.
• Develop new business and build client relationships; mix of office and client meetings.
• Present regularly to win new business and keep abreast of travel trends.
• Attend trade shows, run fam trips, and train travel staff as needed.

- Required to work for this well known global representation company, representing a new river cruise client. Hybrid role, 3 day in the office the office Is based in London. Salary up to 40,000, account management within cruise is a must, ideally withing River cruising as well as contacts within the leisure travel industry

Account managers duties

• Representing a river cruise company Growing existing business as well as developing new business across the UK travel leisure market
• Mixed of office based and homebased, so South East UK is a must, visiting clients face to face and conducting meetings online
• Presenting on a regular basis with the aim of winning new business
• Constantly looking at the UK travel trends, competitor pricing etc
• Attending trade shows, running fam trips, visiting and training travel staff on a regular basis

Account mangers skills required

• Account management experience in travel is a must within Cruise, ideally River cruising
• A strong network of relationships within the leisure side of the travel industry
• A natural sales person, a drive for winning new business
• Strong communication and presenting skills
• Based in the South East as the role is hybrid
