Job summary

Ground Control is seeking an Account Manager to own a client portfolio within the Winter Maintenance and Client Services division. Build lasting relationships, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and work with Operations and Finance to meet client expectations.

You will manage meetings, handle escalations, and provide data-driven insights to strengthen partnerships and drive satisfaction across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Account Management, Client Services, Customer Success, Service Delivery or similar role.
• Strong customer relationship management skills across all levels.
• Experience handling queries or escalations professionally and with solutions.
• Comfort with fast-paced environments and changing priorities.
• Strong communication and influencing skills for challenging conversations.
• Experience juggling multiple priorities while maintaining service standards.
• Commercial awareness to identify value-adding opportunities.
• Resilient, proactive and calm under pressure to support customers and colleagues.
• Experience in facilities management or multi-site environments is advantageous.
• UK driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for a portfolio of clients, building relationships to retain business.
• Lead regular client meetings and reviews with insights and engagement.
• Own customer escalations and complex issues, finding practical solutions.
• Guide Client Service Administrators and ensure consistent client experience.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance and internal teams for seamless service.
• Produce client reports and monitor account performance.
• Identify opportunities to broaden services and add value.
• Review trends and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
