Job Description

Job Spec: Freelance Account Manager, Ads - German Speaking

Length: 6 months

Day Rate: £300 per day (equivalent to £70k salary)

IR35: Inside IR35 (Umbrella Company to be used, not Limited Company)

Location: Central London (Hybrid – 3 days on-site, 2 days remote)

Client: A leading global entertainment company renowned for its innovative approach to digital media and advertising solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage reporting for the book of business and adjust based on market needs.
  2. Collaborate with clients on campaign optimization and ensure delivery performance of ad campaigns.
  3. Work with the EMEA account management team and Account Executive to address campaign goals and execution.
  4. Oversee coordination of account management during peak seasonal periods.
  5. Partner with media agencies to ensure the smooth execution of ad campaigns.
  6. Collaborate with the Ad Ops team for technical troubleshooting and escalation.
  7. Contribute to the monthly billing and invoicing processes with clients and finance teams.
  8. Work with aligned Agency Sales Partners to understand client objectives and ensure campaign alignment.
  9. Help create custom creative assets in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  10. Provide clients with detailed performance reports, including post-campaign wrap-ups.
  11. Build media plans and contribute to RFP responses regarding campaign packaging, pricing, targeting, etc.
  12. Maintain a strong understanding of the client's ad products, sponsorship offerings, and targeting capabilities.
Key Skills and Experience
  1. 5-7 years of experience in Account Management within digital media, specifically video advertising.
  2. Must be a German Speaker
  3. Experience with Sales Operations systems such as CRM, OMS, and Ad Servers.
  4. Knowledge of digital media sales, including Direct IO, Programmatic Guaranteed, and PMP advertising.
  5. Familiarity with Advertising Measurement Solutions (e.g., Nielsen, ComScore, Kantar) and Verification vendors (e.g., Integral Ad Science, DoubleVerify).
  6. Fluency in English.
  7. Background in tech or entertainment is highly desirable.
  8. Strong analytical skills to make data easy to understand for cross-functional stakeholders.
  9. Experience with media planning and digital advertising strategies.
