About The Job
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to support one of our largest and most strategic aerospace manufacturing customers in the UK.
This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a well-established, multi-million-pound account operating across multiple locations nationwide. You will be responsible for managing the commercial performance of the account, strengthening customer partnerships, overseeing contract governance, and ensuring operational excellence in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

- Serving as the primary commercial point of contact for the customer.
- Maintaining and developing relationships with key stakeholders in procurement, purchasing, manufacturing, and operational teams.
- Driving account growth while ensuring customer retention and satisfaction.
- Taking ownership of P&L performance, pricing processes, commercial governance, and contract management.
- Leading contract renewals, service reviews, and commercial negotiations.
- Collaborating closely with operational teams to ensure that service delivery meets customer expectations.
- Conducting regular business reviews, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance processes, improve service levels, and increase account profitability.
- Ensuring compliance with customer quality standards, audit requirements, and established business processes.
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Account Management, Commercial Management, Business Development, or Customer Relationship Management.
- Experience in manufacturing, engineering, industrial sectors, aerospace, automotive, chemicals, or related fields.
- Proven success in managing strategic customer relationships and complex stakeholder groups.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience in managing contracts, pricing discussions, and business performance.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Comfortable presenting commercial data, account performance, and conducting business reviews.
Preferred Experience
- Knowledge of industrial fluids, lubricants, coolants, and metalworking fluids in manufacturing processes.
- Experience supporting customers in highly regulated or audited environments.
- Understanding of service contracts and operational delivery models.
