Job summary

Bauer Media Group UK is hiring an Account Manager to take revenue responsibility for a portfolio of radio and advertising clients in North Yorkshire. This hybrid role balances home, local office, and client visits, with a car allowance to cover travel costs.

You will prospect, present media solutions, grow revenues, and build strong relationships while hitting personal and team targets. Training through Bauer Academy and a supportive team complete the package.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a sales environment or similar.
• Experience achieving both personal and team revenue targets, working to KPIs.
• Proficiency in technology such as a CRM system.
• Exceptional communication with experience presenting key insights.
• Interpersonal skills that will encourage openness and trust.

As an Account Manager you will take personal revenue responsibility fora number ofaccounts as well as the responsibility to grow business across the North Yorkshire territory, for the Bauer portfolio. Embodying Bauer Media’s values you will be helping to drive Bauer’s strategy and goals in the commercial business.

Your role

Our advertising clients are central to everything we do. As an Account Manager, you’ll be working hard to attract and win new clients as well develop our existing client portfolio. Responsibilities with include:

• Pro-actively develop new business using a range of prospecting techniques such as sourcing own leads, being visible on your territory, telephone prospecting, attending networking events , utilising LinkedIn and booking appointments .
• Seeking out new business opportunities, brief taking, providing media and marketing solutions, presenting proposals and asking for the business.
• Grow group revenues across North Yorkshire and the wider Bauer portfolio.
• Achieving personal and team revenue targets .
• Assist in executing Bauer’s commercial strategy.
• Develop key internal and external customer relationships.
• Manage advertising inventory and price.

Working Pattern/Location

This is a hybrid role that supports a balance of working from home, your local office and travelling the North Yorkshire territory assigned to this role. A car allowance is included to cover travel costs.
