Job summary

Boels Rental in the UK is seeking an Account Manager to build strong relationships with the branch sales team and Depot Managers across Stockport and Chelmsford. You will regularly visit new and existing clients to ensure total customer satisfaction and repeat orders.

Your role requires sales and business development instincts, with a focus on delivering trusted equipment recommendations and keeping promises. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• In-depth understanding of Event, Festival and Lighting Hire and related industries.
• Proven achievements in sales management or account management roles.
• Able to sell customer service and quality in a price-driven market.
• Self-motivated and able to meet challenging targets.
• Hold a full UK Driving Licence and be prepared to travel.

Responsibilities

• Visit new and existing clients across Stockport, Chelmsford and surrounding areas to generate repeat orders.
• Build strong relationships with branch sales teams and Depot Managers to ensure high service levels.
• Provide equipment recommendations and deliver on promises to customers.

Job description

Are you taking care of Boels in Stockport/Chelmsford? As our Account Manager you will quickly build strong and productive relationships with the branch sales team and the Depot Managers to ensure excellent customer service is being maintained at all touchpoints of your customers’ journey.

As our Account Manager covering Stockport/Chelmsford and the surrounding areas, you will be regularly out visiting new and existing clients, to ensure total customer satisfaction and repeat orders. Sales and business development are in your DNA and, of course, these things will be second nature to you. Our customers will have total trust in your equipment recommendations and the fact that you always deliver on your promises.

Your working hours will be Monday to Friday, 0730hrs to 1700hrs.

• A competitive annual salary (£35,000 to £45,000) plus bonus and a company car. Actual salary offered will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, relevant skills/experience, relevant qualifications and performance

Your Profile

To also become the best at Boels as our Account Manager, you have to:

• Demonstrate your in-depth understanding and experience of the nuances of Event, Festival and Lighting Hire. Knowledge and experience of plant hire, the construction and civil engineering industries could also be considered useful, in place of lighting hire experience.
• Offer proven achievements within a similar role e.g. sales manager, regional sales manager, account manager, business development etc.
• Be proficient in selling customer service and quality in a heavily competitive, price driven market.
• Be self-motivated and thrive on challenging targets.
• Hold a full UK Driving Licence (a company car is provided, to enable you to travel around your area of operation).
• Have valid proof of your right to work in the UK – (Boels does not arrange relocation, work visas or provide visa sponsorship)
