The Role

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a diverse client list of potential customers in the North of England and Scotland. Whilst managing key relationships, there will also be a need to create new opportunities and potential customers, nurturing relationships from inception to fruition.

Day-to-day activities will include:

Pitching and closing new clients

Negotiating contracts

Renegotiation of service as well as identifying upsell opportunities

Providing exceptional customer service

This is a fast-paced and challenging role that requires a proactive approach and a strong focus on achieving targets.

Key Skills:

The ideal candidate will have:

A background in Science, either from commercial or academics.

Proven track record in Account Management and Business Development

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Highly motivated and results-driven

Ability to thrive in a target-driven environment

Passion for sales and building rapport with clients

Ability to travel across the north of the UK.
