Location: London

Contract type: 6-Month FTC

Reporting into: Business Director

About Ogilvy:

Ogilvy UK has been creating iconic ideas that deliver impact at scale for clients ever since David Ogilvy founded the company in 1948. Ogilvy UK specialises in bringing together brand advertising, customer experience marketing, PR, influence and consulting, all fuelled by Behavioural Science. Our world-class award-winning creative campaigns deliver solutions for clients including Molson Coors (owner of Madrí beer), Valeo Foods UK (owner of Kettle Chips and Rowse Honey), Argos, Mondelēz International, Unilever, TK Maxx and Pernod Ricard.

In 2023, Ogilvy UK celebrated their 75th anniversary and was the most awarded agency in Europe. Ogilvy is home to the largest influencer marketing practice globally and hosts the world’s biggest festival of behavioural science and creativity, Nudgestock – now in its 12th year.

The Role:

We're seeking an Account Manager to join a new integrated team working across two iconic British brands – Pets at Home and Lloyds Banking Group.

Lloyds Banking Group is undergoing significant investment and revitalisation across their portfolio, shifting their focus to be more customer-centric.

Pets at Home is a recent agency win, with work focused on delivering strategically important projects annually as part of a broader agency roster.

You will be a key part of the team managing the day-to-day of these accounts, collaborating with strategy and creative teams to deliver excellence in customer journeys and campaigns across email, direct mail, social, content, and digital channels.

You are highly organised, accountable, and capable of building relationships quickly to create exceptional work from day one. You have a passion for best-in-class experience thinking and bring innovative approaches to client projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Building client relationships: Earn trust swiftly, inspire confidence through knowledge, understand client businesses, and adapt agency approaches accordingly. Respond proactively to client needs and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Delivering quality work: Demonstrate passion and deep understanding of experience channels, see work in strategic context, contribute valuable opinions, and prioritize quality over process.
  • Project delivery: Take responsibility for successful project execution, identify risks, develop contingency plans, and ensure attention to detail.
  • Commercial awareness: Recognise when issues have commercial implications, escalate appropriately, and manage budgets and timelines effectively.
  • Team contribution: Be an active, positive team member, supporting collaborative success.
  • Problem solving & decision making: Resolve issues independently, research diverse approaches, and make informed decisions.
How we help you Thrive:
  • 25 days annual leave + 1 Volunteer Day
  • Enhanced parental leave policies
  • Flexible working with core hours 10am–4pm
  • Wellbeing support including fitness memberships, mental health tools, and development budgets
  • Season Ticket Loan and Cycle to Work Scheme
  • Life Assurance

At Ogilvy, our people are at the heart of what we do: a creative agency that sparks game-changing ideas across culture and business through collaboration, integrity, and a celebration of self-expression.

We are committed to fairness and equity, fostering a culture where everyone feels they belong and has equal opportunity to succeed.
