Lloyd & Whyte, part of Benefact Group, seeks an Account Handler for our Personal Operations team in Taunton. Our team specializes in High Net Worth and Specialist Risk insurance.

The ideal candidate is an experienced insurance professional aiming for their next career step. You will support our General Insurance division by providing expert advice via phone and email, maintaining high retention and meeting income targets aligned with our strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Support your manager and team to achieve retention, income targets, and service KPIs
• Provide coaching and support to ensure consistent processes and advice
• Promote service excellence and customer-first culture
• Assist colleagues' professional development and technical knowledge
• Organize and monitor daily workflow and productivity
• Foster company values and culture within the team
• Encourage business opportunities, reviews, and client satisfaction targets
• Support competency assessments and process improvements
• Manage complaints process with the team’s Complaints Champion
• Represent the company at professional events
• Maintain technical knowledge of products, market trends, and underwriting guidelines

Knowledge, skills and experience

• Experience within the UK Insurance Market
• Ability to work hybrid (3+ days/week) in Taunton
• Chartered Institute Certificate in Insurance (Cert CII)
• Willingness to pursue Diploma in Insurance with support
