About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive Account Handler to support the broking team with administrative and operational tasks.

This role involves managing day-to-day administrative duties such as scheduling, document preparation, and communication support to ensure smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the broking team and senior management.
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, risk surveys, risk improvement visits, and coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and itineraries.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, underwriting presentations, and other documents as needed.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing client communications, including emails, phone calls, and mail.
  • Organise and maintain departmental records, files, and databases.
  • Assist in coordinating internal meetings and company events.
  • Manage expense reports and process invoices for approval.
  • Collaborate with other administrative staff to provide consistent support across the company.
  • Undertake additional administrative tasks as needed to support business functions.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative role, preferably in insurance or financial services.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.
  • High discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The Package:

The base salary ranges from £30,000 to £40,000 depending on experience. Benefits include private medical cover, 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), bonus, and life cover.
