Job description

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our team, reporting to our Birmingham office with a hybrid working arrangement.

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Handler, whose duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with key existing Retail Insurance, Wholesale Insurance, and Reinsurance broking clients.
  • Developing strategies and goals for the development and management of these accounts, often in collaboration with business developers.
  • Serving as the primary interface for Insurance and/or Reinsurance broking clients, providing day-to-day support, service, and advice.
  • Liaising with brokers and colleagues to gather all relevant information for annual renewals and endorsements.
  • Understanding clients' needs, applying knowledge of risks and the insurance market to find suitable coverage, and offering products from multiple insurers to secure optimal solutions.
  • Identifying, developing, and closing new sales opportunities by creating demand and awareness of our products among existing clients.

Responsibilities are within the Insurance Broking Relationship Management Function as a generalist or in a combination of disciplines.
