Account Executive/ Technician – Lloyd’s Broker – 3 days in office
Your new company
Your new role as an Account Executive will be working for a leading Lloyd’s Broker operating in the Lloyd's of London, Bermuda, European and International Specialty markets. They have market-leading capabilities and experience in the Financial, Professional and Casualty Lines sectors. With a broad, independent platform, they can deliver the best services and resources for our clients and broker partners. They partner with clients to deliver risk transfer solutions, claims advocacy and risk management services. Due to expansion in the Technical team, a position for an Account Executive/ Technician who can assist in the continued servicing of the current portfolio of clients in the US, UK, Israel, Hong Kong and Australia has arisen.
Your new role
Working as a Cyber/D&O/E&O or Financial Lines Account Executive/Technician, you will collaborate with the dedicated broking and claims teams on renewals and new business opportunities. Responsibilities include producing technical documentation, preparing formal quotes and contracts, reviewing and wording documents, ensuring regulatory compliance, and verifying fees. Additional duties involve preparing supporting documentation such as spreadsheets for complex placements, working with finance to ensure premiums are received and paid, loading placements onto PPL, and customizing solutions for clients and producers. You will also manage allocated accounts, maintain files and systems per guidelines, and participate in ongoing training to adhere to company policies.
What you’ll need to succeed
Previous experience as an Account Executive or Senior Technician within the London Insurance market, dealing with Financial Lines, E&O, Cyber, or D&O business, is essential. Knowledge of the broader London, US, and international D&O and Cyber markets, strong verbal and written communication skills, and an understanding of insurance regulatory environments are required. Proficiency in computer skills (Word, Excel, Broking Systems, PPL), multitasking ability, organizational skills, and a willingness for continuous learning are also necessary.
