Account Executive (Healthcare Communications)

Havas SO is a purpose-built healthcare communications agency bringing together a diverse team of creative and communication experts.

What makes Havas SO different is our ability to custom-build solutions for our clients, led by a team of experts from healthcare communications, advertising, engagement, and PR. We integrate patient insights into creative briefs and advertising expertise into PR campaigns.

We are currently seeking an Account Executive to join our collaborative, multi-skilled team.

This is a full-time, permanent, hybrid role based in our London office at King's Cross, requiring three days in-office per week.

Role Overview

The Account Executive (AE) supports the account team and client needs by organizing and implementing tactical programs and components effectively and efficiently.

The AE will assist in managing client requests, support team responsibilities, and develop skills in media relations and writing for media and client materials.

Core Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage logistical arrangements, oversee recommendations' validity and cost-effectiveness, and ensure invoices stay within quotations unless justified.
  • Enhance desk research skills for pitches and account work.
  • Contribute ideas to tactical implementation plans.
  • Organize and administer tactical programs to meet deadlines.
  • Handle media monitoring, identify relevant press coverage, and circulate to team and clients promptly.
  • Prepare forms for client project codes and supplier POs.
  • Assist with budget tracking and management.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to approve services.
  • Create media coverage and evaluation reports.
  • Identify relevant media opportunities and track features.
  • Work within allocated budgets and timeframes.
  • Ensure high-quality written communication, with proper grammar and spelling.

You will bring:

  • Experience in healthcare PR, MedComms, or healthcare advertising.
  • Knowledge of ABPI, PAGB, MHRA, and other regulatory guidelines.
  • Understanding of NHS and international health systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Strong editing and quality control skills.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills.
