THE ROLE & WHY IT EXISTS

Gravitee.io is taking APIs to the next level — we are the premier open-source API platform, and we want everyone to know how amazing our software is. To achieve this, we are looking for someone passionate, curious, and ambitious. We are currently recruiting an Account Executive to join our growing business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record with 3+ years of success in COSS software/platform sales focused on API Management, infrastructure software, integration, or related fields, reporting to the Regional Sales Director.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Manage end-to-end sales process.
  • Provide sales and executive management with account updates and sales forecasts.
  • Manage multiple opportunities at varying stages of the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with Customer & Marketing teams in your territory.
  • Drive outbound opportunity generation to complement inbound sales.
  • Work closely with product teams to incorporate customer feedback into the roadmap.
  • Qualify leads and identify prospect needs, engaging technical resources as needed.
  • Create client demos, presentations, quotes, proposals, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • 3+ years in B2B, SaaS, or Open Source Software sales with success selling to diverse company profiles.
  • Understanding of API Management & Identity/Access Management Solutions.
  • Experience with MEDDIC, outbound outreach, and generating opportunities within enterprise accounts.
  • Strong influencing skills with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Experience in EMESA regions including Nordic/Benelux, France, and DACH.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to hunt, prospect, develop, and manage complex sales and large projects.
  • Strong verbal and professional business acumen; additional German language skills are a plus.
