The Role
It is an exciting time to be joining 72Point, now looking for an Account Director to grow the team further. The role will be to develop business directly from agencies, either from scratch, or who we already work with on a spot basis, seeking to develop long term relationships.
As Account Director, you will play a key role in driving 72Point’s revenue growth, focusing on identifying and securing opportunities with PR, advertising, marketing, creative and media agencies. The responsibility of this role is securing new business through proactive outreach and growing revenue within key existing accounts. Reporting to the Commercial Director, this hands-on position is ideal for a results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, autonomous environment. Embodying the 72Point Group's values of being proactive, positive, proud, and professional, you will be instrumental in achieving ambitious sales targets while building strong client relationships and driving the business forward.
Key Responsibilities:
·Ownership: Take accountability for revenue targets, proactively managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to pitches and closing deals.
·Proactive Prospecting: Continuously identify and pursue new opportunities across industries, staying ahead of market trends and client demands.
·Client Services: Proactively manage a portfolio of clients, driving revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, and securing repeat business.
·Market Expertise: Leverage your industry knowledge and existing contacts to position 72Point as a trusted and leading partner for Market Research.
·Professional Representation: Act as a proud and professional ambassador for 72Point at client meetings, pitches, and industry events, showcasing the Group’s capabilities and values.
·Collaboration/Management: Work closely with the Commercial Director to help manage the 72Point team to align on strategy and integrate services seamlessly to deliver exceptional client outcomes.
·Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust sales pipeline, accurately forecasting revenue and ensuring consistent progress toward targets.

Key Skills and Experience:
·Strong experience and success in new business development within the market research sector is a must.
·Proven success in an individual and team sales role(s), consistently achieving and exceeding ambitious revenue targets.
·Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage clients at all levels.
·Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities.
·Highly motivated, self-sufficient, and comfortable working independently and part of a team to drive results.
