The Opportunity

Our client is a global creative communications agency looking for an Account Director to join their existing team in the West Midlands. You will work with key clients, supporting the strategic direction of their events, requiring previous agency experience and confidence in discussing event content and strategy at a senior level.

They are a full-service, global creative agency with offices in London, The Midlands, and Manchester, specializing in Live and Virtual Events, Campaigns, Films, and Incentive Travel. They focus on transforming strategies into engaging experiences and communications.

About You:

Seeking a highly skilled individual with 5+ years of event agency experience, capable of managing large-scale, high-budget projects, with excellent project management, stakeholder communication, client relationship building, content development, financial management, and strategic thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Manage delivery of multiple client projects, including large-scale events, coordinating internal teams, suppliers, and attending events.
  • Content Development: Lead creative content development across media formats.
  • Financial Management: Oversee project profitability, margins, and client contract obligations, ensuring cash flow positivity.
  • Process and Quality Control: Ensure high standards and continuous process improvements.
  • ROT: Manage Return on Target metrics, supporting strategic client relationships.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively within the team.
  • Client Management: Lead client interactions, including senior-level communication.
  • New Business & Business Development: Support new client acquisition and growth strategies.
  • Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with H&S legislation.
  • CRM: Maintain accurate client records.
  • Line Management: Lead and develop account management teams.
  • Company Culture: Promote organizational values and team engagement.
