The Opportunity

Our client is a global creative communications agency looking for an Account Director to join their team in the West Midlands. You will work with key clients, supporting the strategic direction of their events. Prior experience in event agency roles and comfort discussing content and strategy at a senior level are essential.

About The Company:

They are a full-service, global creative agency with teams across London, The Midlands, and Manchester, specializing in Live and Virtual Events, Campaigns, Films, and Incentive Travel. They focus on transforming strategies into engaging experiences.

About You:

You should have 5+ years of event production agency experience, capable of managing multiple projects, including large-scale events. Strong project management, communication skills, client relationship building, content creation, financial oversight, and strategic thinking are required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee delivery of client projects, liaising with internal teams and suppliers, and attending events.
  • Content Development: Lead creative content creation across media.
  • Financial Management: Manage project profitability, margins, and client contracts.
  • Process and Quality Control: Ensure projects meet ISO 9001 standards and quality expectations.
  • ROT: Manage Return on Target metrics within the team.
  • Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively.
  • Client Management: Attend client meetings, build relationships, and identify opportunities.
  • New Business & Business Development: Support and lead pitches, develop growth plans, and attend networking events.
  • Health & Safety: Oversee safety compliance and paperwork.
  • CRM: Maintain up-to-date client records.
  • Line Management: Lead and develop account teams.
  • Company Culture: Promote company values and team involvement.
