The Opportunity

Our client is a global creative communications agency looking for an Account Director to join their team in Liverpool. You will work with key clients, supporting the strategic direction of their events. Previous agency experience in live corporate events is required, with comfort discussing content and strategy at a senior level.

Our client is a full-service, global creative communications agency with offices in London, the Midlands, and Manchester. They specialize in Live and Virtual Events, Campaigns, Strategic Support, Films, and Incentive Travel. They focus on translating strategies into engaging experiences and communications.

About You:

Seeking a highly skilled individual with 5+ years in event production agency roles, capable of managing multiple large-scale, high-budget projects. Strong project management, stakeholder communication, client management, content creation, financial oversight, and strategic thinking are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Manage client projects across teams, including large-scale events. Oversee briefing, liaising with suppliers, content, technical, logistics, and delegate management. Attend all events.
  • Content Development: Lead creative content efforts across media, in collaboration with the Client Services Director.
  • Financial Management: Oversee project profitability, margins, and client contract obligations. Ensure projects are cash flow positive and accurately costed.
  • Process & Quality: Maintain high standards aligned with ISO 9001, suggest process improvements, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • ROT & Resource Management: Manage ROT targets, resource allocation, and strategic client engagement.
  • Client Management: Oversee production, attend meetings, build relationships, and identify new opportunities.
  • Business Development & New Business: Assist in client growth plans, attend meetings, and support pitches.
  • Health & Safety: Oversee H&S compliance and documentation.
  • CRM & Line Management: Keep CRM updated; manage and develop team members.
  • Company Culture: Promote organizational values, participate in team activities, and contribute ideas.
