Job description

We are looking for an exceptional and highly motivated individual to oversee the UK’s premier entertainment and sporting events on behalf of one of our key clients. This role will encompass iconic events such as the Women’s Rugby World Cup 2025, The Open & AIG Women’s Open Championship, F1, Goodwood Festival of Speed, Brit Awards, UCL, and more.

In addition, this position includes an exciting new opportunity to lead a groundbreaking activation in Women’s Sport — a first of its kind. Key responsibilities include managing the successful execution of brand and customer marketing initiatives in the lead-up to and during these events.

This is a rare opportunity to contribute to the success of historic sporting moments and play a pivotal role in driving results for one of the agency’s most important partners.

This could be the perfect role for you if you have integrated marketing experience, outstanding client service and project management skills, thrive in team settings and have an interest in working with a local, regional, and global team.

You will be responsible for:

  • Day-to-day lead on all local market sponsorship initiatives, including project and performance management across core team for Agency’s key local client.
  • Day-to-day lead on the delivery of bespoke Women’s Sport programme for one of the agency’s longest standing global clients.
  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for operational execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and driving cross-functional collaboration to achieve key initiatives.
  • Lead high-level project and performance management across multiple teams, ensuring the timely delivery of multiple initiatives while delivering against performance targets.
  • Collaboration across multiple departments and with the client’s marketing and business units across three continents to develop and deliver promotional campaigns and events.
  • Development of integrated marketing campaigns and B2B, B2B2C, and B2C activations/promotions (ticketing promotion, creative, digital/social media, sales/merchant, cross-promotions with other sponsors, etc.).
  • Management of third-party suppliers.
  • Line management of 2-3 junior team members.
  • Creative utilization and delivery of sponsorship assets such as tickets.
  • Preparation of strategy, operational briefing, and reporting documentation.
  • Working with in-house studio and production teams to bring to life creative concepts and activation ideas.
  • Ensuring client budgets are well managed, tracked, reconciled, and invoiced on time.
  • Reporting – pre, during and post events.

This could be your next right move if:

  • You thrive as part of a big team.
  • You think on your feet and use your initiative. You enjoy learning new things and can quickly adapt when things change.
  • You’re a natural at building rapport with just about anyone at any level in an organisation.
  • You pay attention to the detail and excel in operations.
  • You can think strategically, globally, and long term.
  • You have the ability to collaborate across disciplines, departments and client’s additional agency partners.
  • You are adaptable to working remotely, with people in different countries and continents.
  • You enjoy solving problems and finding creative, incremental solutions to challenges.
  • You communicate clearly. You can write well, you speak in an engaging way and can explain your thoughts and ideas succinctly.

You will also need to have:

  • Experience or knowledge of working with sponsorship properties (campaigns and/or traditional event management).
  • Previous work on campaigns or events in sport or financial services would be advantageous but not a prerequisite.
  • Solid agency experience working in a similar role.
  • Major event experience would be a bonus.
  • High level PowerPoint Skills, Excel and Outlook and a confidence to present internally and externally.
  • Outstanding organization, interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Willingness to work weekends, holidays and non-traditional hours, as required.
