Job Overview

We are looking for an Account Director whose passion, energy, and creativity can match that of the fandoms and communities we build, support, and grow. Our Account Director will be a trusted advisor to our clients who demonstrates expert knowledge of the strategies and drivers of a client’s business, a keen understanding of the social space and the place of fandoms and franchises within it, and the ability to turn that into profitable opportunities for creating amazing and creative career-defining marketing campaigns; from development to presentation to execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing, nourishing, and growing existing entertainment accounts
  • Developing and converting a pipeline of new clients through networking, events, and organic relationship growth
  • Overseeing projects, ensuring quality and profitability
  • Managing, developing, and inspiring teams

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience across entertainment franchises or brand strategy
  • Ability to independently lead a client account that delivers stand-out work, is profitable, and opens up doors for continued growth
  • A proven track record in pitching and converting new business
  • Experience growing and developing long-term relationships both externally with clients/partners and internally with your team
  • The confidence to dig into client pain points and provide proactive solutions
  • Strong experience in digital marketing strategy and implementation across social, content, and creator campaigns
  • The desire and ability to pivot and innovate
  • Excellent communication skills, with clear and concise written and verbal skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills with a team of creative, production, strategy, and social experts
  • Fiscal knowledge and responsibility; ability to forecast sales targets, create a budget, and deliver a project within it
  • Proactivity; always keeping an eye on the industry and looking 3 steps ahead to develop sales strategies, support your clients’ goals, and drive overall success for the agency
