Job summary

RS Integrated Supply is seeking an Account Director to lead end-to-end customer relationships across procurement solutions, transactional enablement and engineering stores. You will drive retention, growth and value creation through account plans, governance (MBR/QBR) and in-contract delivery, while maintaining a strong focus on SLAs and KPIs.

The role is field-based in Central England, West Yorkshire and North West with a 60-80% travel expectation, requiring leadership across multi-site

Responsibilities

• Customer & Contract Ownership: stakeholder mapping, QBR/MBR cadence, contract compliance and on-time renewals; manage scope/change control and in-contract pricing changes.
• Service Performance: orchestrate daily service with Procurement, Finance Operations and Engineering Stores to meet SLA/KPI targets; resolve escalations swiftly.
• Growth & Value: execute account plans to increase share of wallet via cross-sell/upsell, VMI/vending, catalogue optimisation and process improvements.
• Financial Stewardship: forecast revenue; track gross margin and savings delivery; own resolution of billing disputes while Finance Ops executes AR/AP and cash application.
• Reporting & Compliance: publish dashboards (service + financial), ensure audit readiness with Finance Ops; manage risks/issues and communications.

The travel expectation is 60-80%, meaning that 3-4 days of the working week will be completed at either a customer site or another venue.

As an Account Director, you will own the end‑to‑end customer relationship, contract governance (MBR/QBR) and in‑contract delivery across procurement solutions, transactional (P2P) enablement and engineering stores. Deliver retention and growth via account plans, value creation (savings, productivity) and service performance aligned to SLAs/KPIs.

What you will be doing:

• Tracked record of managing multiple accounts with multiple sites and annual revenue between 0-25M GBP.
• People Leadership, experience coaching individuals and first‑line leaders; builds safety, engagement and performance.
• Customer Leadership, experience building executive relationships; leading governance and renewals. Driving revenue growth through sales mindset.
• Commercial Acumen, understanding of pricing/margin levers, manage in‑contract changes.
• Supply Chain and Procurement, understanding of sourcing/SRM, catalogues, engineering stores (e.g., VMI).
• P2P/Transactional, understanding of req‑to‑PO, invoice match, vendor master, disputes.
• Data & Financial Literacy, experience using dashboards, forecasts revenue, articulates savings/ROI to build and deliver compelling presentations.
• Continuous Improvement, experience in leading CI to reduce cost and improve service.
• Risk & Compliance, understanding of audit/control requirements and service risks.
