Job summary

Join MPS as an Accessibility Coordinator and coordinate accessibility projects across our client base, ensuring accurate, on-time delivery of audio description and SDH services. The role sits within the Production team and involves developing team systems, onboarding, and supporting freelancers and vendors.

You will liaise with clients and internal teams, provide weekend on-call support, and help optimise workflows in a fast-paced environment that serves global cinema audiences.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years plus experience in a subtitling/accessibility role in the media industry.
• Understanding of different type of video and encoding formats, including VOD and Home Entertainment Requirements.
• Knowledge of Audio Description and Hard Of Hearing.
• Fluent written and spoken English with a second language; Arabic, Chinese, Korean or Thai would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate accessibility projects from planning through to completion with the MPS client base.
• Provide general subtitling and localisation services as needed and advise clients on subtitling queries.
• Serve as a point of contact for AM and other departments with Access queries; communicate with clients, vendors and freelancers; escalate issues appropriately.
• Assist and support freelancers and vendors; provide weekend on-call and overtime support for the Subtitling & Accessibility team when required.
• Plan and organise projects to ensure on-time delivery; understand workflows for efficient handover and pickup.
