Job Description:

Spencer Clarke Group are working with a very well-established, reputable and fast-growing Accountancy Practice within Ashton-under-Lynne , Greater Manchester who are looking for an experienced Client Accountant to join their team!

What will be expected of you;

• Managing a team of bookkeepers and client managers including trainees
• Training and development of fellow team members
• Planning client compliance work
• Preparation of accounts
• Managing workflow and allocation
• Dealing with external organsiations including HMRC
• Management of client records and client enquiries
• Reporting to senior managers and participating in meetings
• Dealing with general ad hoc duties

To be successful for this role, you will be expected to have a minimum of 2 years experience within an Accounting Practice as well as being fully ACCA/ACA qualified.

You will be knowledgeable of Accounting standards and compliance, have a good knowledge and understanding of Taxation, and be confident in using software including Xero, QuickBooks, DEXT and Sage Cloud Accounting.

Having the confidence in dealing with clients and responding to client queries and being able to manage and train a team will be very beneficial when applying for this position.
