Job summary

Curtis Recruitment Limited is seeking an Accountant for its Wokingham area offices. The ideal candidate will be ACCA/ACA qualified with substantial accounts and tax experience within a UK practice. Personal tax experience is a plus, and Sage/IRIS/FreeAgent/KashFlow familiarity is expected.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACCA/ACA with significant accounts experience gained within a UK accountancy firm.
• Solid experience in personal tax and VAT would be advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; highly organised and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounts preparation for SME clients (FRS 102/FRS 105).
• Respond to client enquiries accurately and promptly as first point of contact.
• Assist VAT team with quarterly management accounts and VAT returns.
• Advise clients on salary and dividends; support personal tax portfolio.
