Qualifications

• Accounts preparation under FRS 102/FRS 105.
• Corporation Tax computations & CT600s.
• Personal Tax Returns & VAT Returns.
• Advising clients on salary/dividends.
• Reviewing junior staff work & acting as main client contact.

A well-established accountancy practice near Wokingham is seeking an experienced Practice Accountant to join their friendly team. This varied role supports both the accounts and tax departments, working with a portfolio of SME clients.

The salary for this role is up to £65,000 depending on experience. You will be fully officed based in the firms offices close to Wokingham.

Main responsibilities for the Practice Accountant role are:

• Accounts preparation (FRS 102 Section 1a & FRS 105)
• Corporation Tax computations & CT600s
• Personal Tax Returns & VAT Returns
• Advising clients on salary/dividends
• Reviewing junior staff work & acting as main client contact

Skills required the Practice Accountant role are:

• Qualified, part-qualified or QBE accountant
• number of years proven experience working in practice
• Strong software knowledge (IRIS, Sage, Xero, FreeAgent etc.)
• Excellent communication, organisation & attention to detail
