Job summary

Brighton & Hove Albion FC is seeking 2 Academy and Pathway Goalkeeping Coaches to lead pathway and youth development for the boys' academy. You will deliver pitch training and matchday reviews, mentoring young goalkeepers and logging performance data in Kitman Labs.

The role requires UEFA B Goalkeeping License, FA Safeguarding and FA Emergency First Aid qualifications, with a permanent contract based at the American Express Elite Football Performance Centre in Lancing.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to coach across pathway/youth age groups.
• Strong technical demonstrator with engaging presentation skills.
• Experience in professional football academy environments is essential.

Responsibilities

• Coach pathway and youth development players; deliver pitch training and matchday reviews.
• Log performance data in Kitman Labs and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff.
• Support scouting and development of goalkeeping talent within the club’s academy.

Shape the next generation of elite goalkeepers

We are looking to recruit 2 goalkeeping coaches to coach our pathway and youth development phase age groups within the boys academy.

You will play a key role in developing, mentoring, and preparing the club’s youth goalkeepers. You will deliver pitch training and matchday reviews, alongside logging performance data in Kitman Labs. You will work closely with multidisciplinary staff to support holistic player development and contribute to scouting potential goalkeeping talent.

Experience that will help you thrive

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background and familiarity with the professional football academy landscape and player pathways. You will be an outstanding technical demonstrator with engaging presentation skills to connect effectively across different age groups. It is essential that you hold UEFA ‘B’ Goalkeeping License, UEFA B License, FA Safeguarding qualification and FA Emergency First Aid qualification.
