Academy Administrative Officer – Learner Attendance

Location Ashfields New Road, Newcastle, Staffs. ST5 2SJ

Contract Type Permanent pending probationary period

Hours up to 22.5 hours over 3 days.

Salary Grade 5

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and improve learner attendance and punctuality.
  • Liaise with parents, carers, staff and external agencies.
  • Produce and analyse attendance data to support SLT decision-making.
  • Provide administrative and reception support, including first aid (training provided).
  • Contribute positively to the ethos and Catholic mission of the Collegiate.
Ideal candidate
  • Be well-organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Have strong IT skills (Arbor or similar MIS desirable).
  • Communicate effectively with learners, parents/carers and colleagues.
  • Demonstrate discretion, initiative and resilience.
