Join Wiltshire College & University Centre and play a vital part in supporting learners to reach their full potential in a welcoming, student-focused environment.
Salary: £21,486 rising to £21,740 per year (Full-time equivalent £24,619 rising to £24,910 per year)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time 37 hours per week, Term Time Only, 36+2 weeks per year
Year-Round Employment: No unpaid breaks
A stable role with benefits designed to support your wellbeing, finances, and future.
The role will involve providing one-to-one and personalised support to students with disabilities and additional learning needs, including students with visual impairment.
You will work alongside students and college staff to identify and reduce barriers to learning, helping learners access teaching, learning resources, campus facilities and wider college life as independently as possible.

Experience of working with visual impairment, assistive technology, accessibility software or disability support would be advantageous.
As an Academic Support Coach, you will have the opportunity to provide consistent, encouraging and individualised support that helps students access education and develop the skills and confidence they need to become increasingly independent.
You’ll also benefit from working within a supportive education environment, with predictable working hours and opportunities for professional development.
