Job summary

Study Group is seeking a Progression & Transition Coach for the Royal Holloway International Study Centre. You will deliver Academic Success tutorials, provide 1:1 coaching, and develop study skills content while coordinating with academic staff to support student progression.

The role requires safeguarding awareness, strong people skills, and reliable administration. You will work face-to-face and online to support progression to the partner university.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in an educational context.
• Experience organising trips and risk assessments.
• Experience creating engaging content and delivering workshops.
• Experience collaborating with external partners to facilitate activities.
• Experience facilitating student feedback mechanisms.
• Experience working in a regulated environment with safeguarding processes.

Responsibilities

• Act as a personal tutor delivering Academic Success tutorials and 1:1 coaching.
• Design learning materials on study skills, welfare, and employability.
• Update and maintain the VLE and integrate digital learning tools.
• Record attendance and intervene promptly per policy.
• Track student performance and refer to progression teams as needed.
• Monitor destination offers and assist students with progression options.
