Job summary

London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA) invites applications for an Academic Director of Teaching & Learning to provide senior leadership across our seven-day higher education environment. You will drive excellence in teaching, learning and assessment, lead academic partnerships with validating and awarding bodies such as UCA and ULaw, and ensure quality assurance, inclusion and student success.

Weekend delivery is central, with Saturday and Sunday on-site work plus three weekdays; the role

Qualifications

• Senior academic leadership experience in higher education.
• Fellowship HEA or equivalent recognition.
• Experience leading improvements through academic teams.
• Knowledge of OfS registration and quality assurance frameworks.
• Ability to develop and implement academic strategy.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior academic leadership across weekend delivery.
• Oversee teaching, learning and assessment practices.
• Lead development of academic partnerships with validating and awarding bodies.
• Ensure quality assurance and student outcomes.
• Collaborate with College Deans and academic colleagues.
