Job summary

Police Federation of England and Wales is seeking an ACA-qualified accountant to join the finance team for a 4–6 month contract to implement a new finance system. The role focuses on configuration, data migration, testing, and go-live activities across Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics NAV.

Based at HQ Leatherhead, you will work with Finance, IT, and implementation partners to embed new processes, controls and reporting. A hands-on contractor role with a daily rate is offered.

Qualifications

• ACA qualified accountant with post-qualification experience.
• Strong Excel and data handling skills.
• Experience delivering accounting system implementations.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key member of the finance system implementation team.
• Lead data migration, validation and testing for the new system.
• Coordinate UAT and sign-off activities with finance users.
• Support design of enhanced financial controls and month-end processes.
• Deliver training and go-live support to users.
