Red Rock Consultants Ltd in the West Midlands is seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our HVAC team. The role focuses on installation, maintenance, fault diagnosis and site surveys for diverse commercial and luxury residential projects. Immediate start, full-time permanent contract.

You will contribute to on-site support, adhere to environmental and safety standards, and collaborate with engineers and office staff to deliver excellent service.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer.
• Valid F-Gas Certification (Category 1 or equivalent) – Essential.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full, clean UK Driving Licence.

Responsabilidades

• Installation of Air Conditioning Systems: full installations of split, multi-split, and VRV/VRF systems in line with guidelines.
• Maintenance & Servicing: routine maintenance and servicing to ensure efficiency and safety compliance.
• Diagnosis & Repairs: identify faults and perform timely repairs to minimise downtime.
• Site Surveys: assist with site assessments and design of new systems.
• Customer Interaction: maintain professional, customer-focused on-site communication.
• Compliance & Reporting: ensure work meets F-Gas regulations and safety policies; complete documentation.
• Team Collaboration: work with engineers, project managers and office staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of Air Conditioning Systems: Carry out full installations of split, multi-split, and VRV/VRF systems to a high standard in line with manufacturer guidelines and industry regulations.
• Maintenance & Servicing: Perform routine maintenance and servicing of air conditioning units, ensuring systems operate efficiently and comply with environmental and safety standards.
• Diagnosis & Repairs: Identify faults and conduct timely, effective repairs to minimise downtime for clients.
• Site Surveys: Support in conducting site assessments and assisting with the planning and design of new systems.
• Customer Interaction: Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach on-site, providing clear communication and updates to clients.
• Compliance & Reporting: Ensure all work is compliant with F-Gas regulations and company health & safety policies. Complete relevant documentation and service reports accurately.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, project managers, and office staff to deliver seamless service.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer
• Valid F-Gas Certification (Category 1 or equivalent) – Essential
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Full, clean UK Driving Licence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to undertake further training and stay updated with industry developments
