Job summary

HVAC Total FM Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to cover Tyneside and the wider North East, blending maintenance, fault finding and AC installation/project works across commercial sites. You will travel between sites with a company van, perform planned and reactive maintenance on split and VRV/VRF systems, and support AC project installations.

Are you an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer looking for a varied mobile role offering a mixture of maintenance, fault finding and AC installation/project work?

We're recruiting for an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join a leading national Facilities Management provider, covering a portfolio of commercial sites across Tyneside and the wider North East.

This isn't purely a PPM maintenance position. Alongside servicing, reactive maintenance and fault finding, you'll also have the opportunity to get involved with AC installations, replacements, upgrades and project works, giving you plenty of variety.

The Role

As a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer, you'll travel across commercial sites throughout Tyneside and the surrounding North East, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of air conditioning and HVAC equipment.

You'll be responsible for servicing systems, diagnosing faults, completing repairs and ensuring equipment continues to operate efficiently and reliably.

Alongside your maintenance responsibilities, you'll also support project and installation works, including system replacements, upgrades and new AC installations.

The position would suit an AC Engineer based around Newcastle, Gateshead, North Tyneside, South Tyneside or the surrounding North East area.
