Job summary

Absolute Developments invites applications for an Apprentice in construction and property maintenance. You will gain hands-on experience across carpentry, joinery, building, plumbing, electrical works, plastering and decorating while learning from seasoned tradespeople.

The programme runs for 2 years starting 1 October 2026, with on-site work Monday to Friday. Training includes study time, college attendance at Macclesfield College and a Level 2 Property Maintenance Operative certification.

• GCSE English, Maths and Science at grade 4/C or above.

Join our team and gain hands-on experience in full property repairs, refurbishments, kitchens, bathrooms, plastering, plumbing, electrical works, decorating and general maintenance while learning from experienced tradespeople.

Annual wage: £15,600 a year

Hours
Working week: Monday - Friday. Arrive on site for 6.50am. Minimum 30 hours, average 40 hours per week.

Pickup time is between 6.10am and 6.40am, depending on the current job.

Pickup & drop off point is either: The Windmill Pub, Holehouse Ln, Whiteley Green, Macclesfield SK10 5SJ, OR, Toby Carvery Macclesfield, London Road, Adlington, Macclesfield, Cheshire, SK10 4NA, depending on where the current job is.
