Job summary

Ribbons & Reeves is assisting a highly regarded secondary school in Newham to recruit an ABA Teaching Assistant for immediate start. You will provide 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs using Applied Behaviour Analysis techniques.

Working within a supportive SEND and pastoral team, you will collaborate with teachers to promote positive behaviour, communication and independence, focusing on personalised strategies to help the pupil access the curriculum and progress.

Qualifications

• Proven ABA experience is essential.
• UK school-based experience is desirable.
• A strong academic background with a good degree and A-levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent 1:1 support to the pupil using ABA strategies.
• Promote positive behaviour, communication, engagement and independence.
• Collaborate with teaching, SEND and pastoral staff to implement personalised strategies.
