Job summary

Academics Ltd in Slough is seeking an enthusiastic ABA Assistant to support children with additional needs in a specialist school.

You will provide 1:1 and small group support, use ABA-based strategies to help learning, communication and positive behaviour, and work closely with teachers to implement individual learning plans. Start ASAP. Salary £93–£110 per day; Hours Monday–Friday 8:30am–3:30pm; Contract: Full-time.

Qualifications

• Graduates with interest in psychology, behaviour, education or therapy.
• Patient, compassionate and enthusiastic.
• Confident communicator and positive role model.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students.
• Use ABA-based strategies to support learning, communication and positive behaviour.
• Help students develop independence, confidence and social skills.
• Build strong relationships with children and work with teachers on learning plans.
• Monitor progress and provide feedback on students' development.
