Job summary

You will be confident preparing year-end accounts, VAT returns and working papers, and you will join a friendly team servicing a varied client portfolio.

You will handle bookkeeping, client queries, and support transitions to cloud-based accounting software, working independently to manage your workload effectively.

Qualifications

• Experienced in an accountancy practice setting and able to handle year-end accounts and VAT returns with supporting working papers.

Responsibilities

• Preparing year-end accounts and working papers.
• Bookkeeping and preparation of VAT returns.
• Providing ad-hoc accounting support to a varied client portfolio.
• Acting as the first point of contact for clients regarding bookkeeping queries.
• Supporting clients with their transition to cloud-based accounting software.
• Working independently and managing workload effectively.
