We are looking for a Senior Group Financial Reporting Manager to join at this exciting time as we continue to grow. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to work in a fast-paced, growing company. The role is crucial for our continued growth and will report to the Group Head of Finance (based in Bucharest), with direct day-to-day contact with the CFO in the UK to support team dynamics. The role will involve:
Responsibilities
- Manage and drive the monthly IFRS consolidation reporting timetable and deliverables, including key reconciliation processes;
- Prepare monthly management accounts reports and key analysis, along with the board pack;
- Establish and maintain a Group accounting and financial reporting manual, including policies and procedures;
- Collaborate with local finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and support related tasks;
- Prepare financial statements for the Group and subsidiaries under IFRS, including linked narrative reporting;
- Manage the Group’s cash flow forecasting process in coordination with the FP&A team;
- Work with tax advisers on tax disclosures and support tax compliance filings;
- Lead on technical IFRS and other reporting issues, including impairment, acquisition accounting, and ESG reporting;
- Assist in the group audit process, acting as the main contact for financial reporting queries;
- Lead ad hoc financial reporting projects for internal and external stakeholders;
- Support other projects, working with global teams to standardize processes and controls for a listed environment.
Qualifications and Experience
- ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification with at least 3 years’ post-qualification experience;
- Ability to prioritize multiple workstreams and meet reporting deadlines;
- Strong attention to detail, combined with common sense and initiative;
- Ownership and accountability for financial reporting needs, proactive in assessing transactions;
- Excellent relationship-building skills across all organizational levels;
- Familiarity with the Betting & Gaming or Ecommerce sectors OR experience with NetSuite.
