Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced A-Level Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 support to learners across Hampshire, helping them build subject knowledge, confidence and resilience toward their long-term goals.

Start in September with flexible hours and the potential for long-term placements, working on behalf of Local Authorities to support students with diverse needs in various A-Level subjects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, teaching assistant, mentoring, learning support, or similar roles
• Strong knowledge of one or more A-Level subjects
• Relevant qualifications and/or experience teaching at A-Level
• Ability to deliver engaging and personalised learning sessions
• Experience supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Patient, adaptable, and learner-focused approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally across Hampshire
