Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking a qualified Physics Teacher for a Wirral post starting November 2026. The role covers teaching Physics up to Year 13, including A Level, in a secondary school with sixth-form provision.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Physics in a secondary or sixth-form setting.
• Ability to teach Physics up to Year 13, including A Level.
• Strong classroom management and ability to differentiate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Physics lessons up to Year 13, including A Level content.
• Plan and deliver engaging theoretical and practical lessons.
• Explain complex Physics concepts clearly to mixed-ability classes.
• Support calculations, reasoning and problem-solving across the physics curriculum.
• Prepare students for assessments and examinations relevant to post-16 physics.
• Assess progress and provide constructive feedback to students.
• Differentiate lessons to meet a range of abilities.
• Maintain positive behaviour and high academic expectations in class.
