Qualifications

• Must hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Strong knowledge of Chemistry and Science for secondary education
• Experience teaching Science in a secondary school
• Ability to deliver engaging Chemistry lessons and manage classrooms
• Understand laboratory safety and practical science teaching

Responsibilities

• Deliver Chemistry and Science lessons in line with the curriculum
• Plan and deliver engaging theoretical and practical lessons
• Prepare students for assessments and exams
• Differentiate lessons for varying abilities
• Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and safety procedures
• Collaborate with Science colleagues and contribute to school environment
